I've had this song on repeat tonight...may seem a bit dramatic, that I can be from time to time:)
This is one of those 'memory lane' songs...it pops in my mind when I feel like I've closed a chapter. Today, I closed my chapter at CCSMS. I guess most would consider it a pretty short chapter, but definitely filled with great times, many changes, and an assurance that the Lord had me right where He wanted me for that season. I'm quite sentimental, so I always get a little emotional with any change in life...I felt twinges of sadness today as I cleaned out file cabnets, read old notes and pictures from the kids, the realization that I won't see the familiar faces of those I've worked with as often as I'm used to, and saying goodbye to some amazing students who have left big imprints on my heart.
The next chapter is starting and there comes a great peace with knowing that the Lord has called me to work alongside my husband and much excitement on what's to come in the next year!
